This course prepares students to pass the CompTIA Network+ Certification exam. CompTIA Network+ helps develop a career in IT infrastructure covering troubleshooting, configuring, and managing networks. This course focuses on the content described in the exam objectives to give you the best chance of success. In this Network Technician course you will demonstrate the mastery of the concepts covered on the CompTIA Network+ exam using a sophisticated remote lab environment. You will work through several practice exams to reinforce your knowledge and gain essential networking skills in labs featuring networking devices such as routers, switches, access points, and others.

Please read:  Students must have a valid CompTIA A+ certification, have successfully completed CMT103- IT User Support Specialist II, CMT111- CompTIA A+ Certification Exam Prep, or request a waiver from the Program Manager (CEBusiness@frederick.edu). Classes will meet in person and require online participation as noted in a syllabus or course schedule that the instructor will provide. Online participation may include real-time virtual participation or non-scheduled asynchronous participation.
