Set in the rolling hills of Potomac, Glenstone Museum is a world class collection of post-WWII artworks, but it is so much more than just a typical museum. Glenstone seamlessly integrates art, architecture, and landscape into a serene and contemplative environment. The works are presented in a series of refined indoor and outdoor spaces for an experience like no other. This tour is a drop and go tour. Though a trip leader will be present, there will be no ILR tour guide offering commentary while on the bus. Spend the morning and early afternoon exploring the collection and grounds. Lunch is on your own at either the Café or Patio featuring sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Both dining options are located onsite. The museum grounds are vast. You will spend a considerable amount of time on foot; comfortable shoes are recommended.
