Automotive technicians work in a variety of roles in the automotive industry. From repairing cars and servicing commercial trucks to building the next race car, opportunities for automotive technicians are as varied as they are rewarding. FCC delivers a solid education as well as hands on experience to get you started in a new career.

Prepare for a successful career with expert-led training at Frederick Community College and enter the field with a working knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance. Become familiar with key functions, critical components, tools and parts identification and use, and workplace safety guidelines. Examine tasks and responsibilities while acquiring knowledge and skills to assist experienced mechanics with repairs and maintenance.
