Coming Soon! Rehab Aide Job Prep and Skills Training

Hybrid Remote Format • 10/19/2021 - 12/7/2021
Acquire entry level concepts and career skills to prepare for work as a rehabilitation aide. Program topics focus on communication and professional behaviors, medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, basic physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures. Instruction includes accurate documentation as well as ethics and legal considerations in the physical therapy clinical environment. Experts also deliver principles and concepts pertaining to body mechanics, positioning, transfers, assistance with ambulation, range-of-motion (ROM), vital signs as well as demonstration and discussion of physical agents and modalities and therapeutic exercise. Includes opportunities to engage in hands-on skills practice. Registration opens April 19 >>


Rehab Aid Job Prep and Skills Training is a Hybrid Remote Course. It will be conducted primarily online with required periodic on-campus meetings on Tuesday mornings, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Monroe Center, from October 19 through December 7, 2021. Learn more about course formats.
