• Foundation for Healthcare Careers (CAH145 or ADE641)
• Fundamentals of Dental Assisting (CAH272)
• Oral Radiography (CAH273)

CPR Basic Life Support (SAF157)

Duration and Format
- Program Duration: Four months
- Timing: Day and Evening classes
- Hybrid Format: In-person and online participation required

Requirements
• English reading and listening skills*
• Current AHA Basic Life Support CPR card or registration in SAF157 CPR Basic Life Support.
• Oral Radiography requires dental assisting and/or dental anatomy knowledge, dental assisting experience or successful completion of a dental assisting program.

Receive Credit for Prior Learning Experience**
Request credit or a waiver by providing one or more of the following:
• CAH145 Foundations of Healthcare Careers: Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant, completion of FCC MEDA101, SURG130, or NURS101, previous work experience, or completion of healthcare coursework.
• SAF157 Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider: Current AHA Basic Life Support CPR Card valid through program end date.

Four-month program is delivered in a hybrid learning format (in-person and online class participation required). Day and evening classes are available.

• AHA Basic Life Support CPR card or SAF157 CPR Basic Life Support enrollment.
• Oral Radiography requires dental assisting and/or dental anatomy knowledge, dental assisting experience or successful completion of a dental assisting program.

• Tuition & Class Fees: $4,120.00
• Registration Fee: $9.00 per year
• Out-of-county Residents Fee: $5.00 per class
• Out-of-state Residents Fee: $10.00 per class

• DANB National Entry Level Dental Assistant Certification
• DANB Radiation Health and Safety Certification
• Maryland General Dental Assisting Certification

Receive Credit for Prior Learning Experience**
To request credit or a waiver in the following classes, provide one or more of the following:

CAH145 Foundations of Healthcare Careers: Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant credentials, completion of MEDA101, SURG130, or NURS101 at FCC, previous work experience, or completion of healthcare coursework.

SAF157 Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider: Possess a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR Card extending beyond the end date of the program.
