Enjoy a day touring two very different art museums in Baltimore. We’ll start the day at the Baltimore Museum of Art. BMA has assembled a very impressive collection of 18th, 19th, and 20th century art including works by Matisse and Picasso. Lunch will be on your own at a local market in Federal Hill. Then we’ll walk over to the American Visionary Art Museum. This museum will be a departure from the collection you viewed at BMA as it specializes in the preservation and display of outsider art. We’ll tour thematic exhibitions that seamlessly combine art, science, philosophy, humor, and social justice. Fee includes entrance to the museums. This bus tour involves moderate walking up to a mile, possible steps, and some standing throughout the day.
