Self-Service Feature
We know, life happens. Plans change. And sometimes those changes include the need to cancel a class registration. You can do this online with our self-service cancellation feature, or the "self-drop" option. Available on select classes up to 7 days prior to the class start date, this option is accessible from your account dashboard. To get started:
  • Sign into your account
  • Scroll down and click "Go to My Dashboard"
  • Click Menu (the green drop down option) on the left side of the screen.
  • Click Cancel and classes eligible for self-drop will be displayed.
  • From that list, click the class you wish to drop, or remove, and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.
If you originally paid for your registration using a credit card, you may choose to receive a credit card refund (please allow 7-10 days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement) or an electronic voucher (a credit to your account for use toward a future registration made within the next 30 days, after which time, it will be automatically refunded to your credit card). We look forward to serving you with this new feature. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Online Registration is Always Open
Program offerings include workforce development and lifelong learning opportunities. Online registration is always open. Note Regarding Age Requirements
Students should be at least 16 years of age to enroll in most continuing education courses, except for those courses specifically designated for younger students. Students under the age of 16 who have completed at least the seventh grade may be permitted to enroll in courses on a case-by-case basis. Students will be considered for such admission if they demonstrate the ability to profit from instruction based on a set of specific criteria. For more information, call the counseling office (301.846.2471). Certain programs or courses of study include higher minimum age for participation when the College has determined that age is a factor necessary to the normal operation of the program or activity. Minimum age is used as a measure or approximation of the level of maturity, judgment, and social independence needed for successful participation in the program or activity in addition to academic skills. [Authority: 34 CFR 110.12]

Need to Take a Placement Test?
The FCC Testing Center is now administering virtual placement testing for courses with placement testing requirements. To accommodate students, Testing Center proctors will conveniently administer online ACCUPLACER tests by appointment via Zoom.
